Bo$$ lady

Throwing it back to spring 2019 to my very first headshot shoot, when I was twenty-five weeks pregnant. The way I layered my trousers with the waist detailing truly made it impossible to tell I was pregnant front facing. Since this was my first pregnancy, it mattered to eat a clean diet that was rich in mostly plant based raw foods and interestingly, I only gained 25 lbs. Getting the weight off was easier than I could have imagined, although getting back to shooting has been more complex than I hoped for.

As mother's we are true magicians always juggling a hundred jobs and often times our own needs get pushed on the back burner. That being said, I am thankful my little one is a few days shy of 16 months with a newfound freedom in her independent play, leaving me tons of room to build my blog from the back forward. If you read the previous blog, you will notice how I mentioned it wasn't how I originally planned this. However, I am beyond thankful to now have the time to focus on this new growth and personal evolution.

These images speak a lot to me. The very first thing that jumps out, is there is something undeniably powerful about a woman that wears a suit. This shoot was a few weeks following my first ever on-camera TV appearance on "The Doctor's" where I was given a platform to share my story about a personal trauma I overcame in 2017.

This shoot was all about rebranding my image from fashion stylist to the stars to fashion entrepreneur, blogger and style influencer. In this empowering context, the look was inspired by continuance of the same boss queen, survivor energy that I gave during the January 2019 taping of "The Doctor's" show.
