Emerald Jewel$

The soft gaze and story behind my eyes says it all. I was soul deep into my mama glow, inching my way thru the entry into Motherhood with my warrior heart ready to take on the world. This was by far truly one of the most personally empowering projects I've been a part of. I am all for women, supporting women, helping women reach their highest selves, and being a part of a greater dynamic of giving. There is much to be said about philanthropy on a spirit level. This is the message that heartfelt collaborations are all about. Women serving as a catalyst to bridge each others greatest strengths in their own artistic expression.

Being precisely at the twenty-third week mark of my pregnancy, my goal was to bring as much energy to this shoot as I would had I not been carrying a baby. The motivation I felt was powered by the belief that amazing things are born out of difficulty and it's all about how you push through. Pushing through is a verb true to my experience. I felt bloated, out of breath and my feet were aching jumping around in heels for five hours, but I kept my poker face. This is true in many instances. Keep the same energy going and you'll be amazed at what you can achieve.

In conclusion, I am a huge advocate for collaborating with like-minded women. There is magic that is birthed out of connection and without partnership we cannot thrive as a creative or community of artists. With that said, one of my utmost favorite pieces in this look is by far the emerald-encrusted snake earrings. They are an absolute statement and deserve a beauty shoot by themselves. Designed by Indonesian based Miranda Konstintinidu. Her elegant swarvoski crystal cut jewelry and handwork details is truly unmatched.
