Truly enjoyed shooting in several variations of mood lighting for this fun series with my good friend and photographer, Ashlyn.

Studio shooting is an inventive and creative process, especially when you get to work and create art with your favorite people. She tends to specialize in studio photography and always brings such dynamic energy to the shoot. I love how we work together.

What I love most about studio sessions, is you can adjust varied lenses and lighting techniques to achieve a complex visual even using a simple subject to give it depth.

We categorized this project as a "test" shoot to give us a chance to play with lighting on a clean, neutral backdrop. Concept shoots are always a fun vision to be a part of.

The look was all about a basic, clean style that the photographer could adjust varied lighting temperatures to emulate a warm and a cool glow to the subject: me.

Being a freelance fashion stylist for majority of the time I've been native to Los Angeles (sixteen years this March) has been an interesting journey crossing over from someone that dresses celebrities, to an influencer, and model strictly in the forefront of the camera. I have to say, I've been loving the entire process.

What a beautiful shift it is, to grow as a creative, and expand my vision as the talent coming from a world where I was a leading trendforecaster for over a decade. It's a unique transition into another facet of the creative arts that I'm loving quite the same.

As an influencer that also dresses herself as the face of a product, it's a completely different kind of approach than being behind the scenes, and in the background as a stylist to bring the whole creative vision to life.

Having multi-talents in the fashion industry is a skill that I'm grateful to have developed over time. I'm excited to invest more quality time into creating projects that push the envelope and bridge greater opportunities.

Needless to say, 2022 is going to be a catapulting year with so many beautiful projects in the lineup, and so much in the pipeline already. There is ample content on the horizon with Fashionopoly, and I can't wait to expand on this vision in the coming months with my dear readers.
