As I sit here with enormous amounts of content backlogged between what's sitting in my hard drive and my Instagram feed, it was time I publish exclusively. Between becoming a new Mom, managing an entire household and getting back into my fashion swing this project has been long overdue. Here's a special collaboration I did Spring of 2019, while twenty-three weeks pregnant and obviously feeling the new mama glow.
Among the brands I partnered with for this shoot, it's so hard to pick a favorite - but I'd have to say it is very clearly Charles and Ron by a landslide. Patchwork details and sequins add a retro touch, yet also a bit of streetwear appeal which can be styled in tremendous ways. I wanted to keep the vision denim based for this look, and loved the urban vibe.
Coincidentally, this shoot was intended for outdoors. However, after strategic planning and locking in the shoot weeks in advance, we got hit with unexpected thunderstorms and rain, halting our original concept, and rethinking our entire production.
Some things happen as their meant to, and as a creative you must be flexible and forward thinking. I am grateful to have had such a talented team to back me on this project.
