As I reflect on the influential energy of this portrait, the importance of owning your truth goes beyond words. I made a promise that I would always expand myself beyond anything that does not serve me. In that, I have always done things independently my way with inexplicable pride. With or without validation, I know that I am enough. As women, we must respect the layers of our self-worth. And create boundaries in any situation that compromises our values.

Becoming a mother this past year has elevated my entire existence. My daughter will be encouraged to lead in her truth, and live with passion. In this day and especially this time in history, it means something to give homage to women as a whole. There is so much greatness inside of us, and collectively we are aligning to our inner strength, standing up with radical excellence, owning our power, breaking through walls, and leading the way as entrepreneurs, and claiming our roles in leadership.

In my experience wearing multiple hats in fashion as a business owner, creative director, fashion stylist, journalist and now style influencer, we truly get further along with connection. It is the essence of creative breakthroughs. My dear friend and photographer, Iman epitomizes a true artist. It has been an honor to collaborate and create art without constraint and with authentic connection. She is undeniably gifted in the arts and has endless talent ready to offer the world. It is always on my agenda as a woman, to find more female boss leaders to join forces and build with that can meet me with just as much soul and passion.
