When showing up as an aforementioned fashion stylist, there is little that shouts more confidence than a woman in a suit. I had this perception in my head about how I wanted my energy received for this project. I wanted to pull from place that commands respect. Even though visibly braless underneath this blazer. I've always maintained a style that upholds class which truly comes from a space of security within myself. Already holding a clear picture on how this look needed to come across, I did away with the bra and used double-sided tape to keep my shape together and the look seamless. Masterfully pulled together for a mama twenty-five weeks pregnant, I successfully pulled off the quintessential white suit.

Being that this was set up as an initial headshot shoot, I had an image of boss lady entrepreneur in mind. I was fearlessly diving into uncharted territory as a style influencer ready to take this journey by the horns, and truly own my power. As a mom to be, and a new set of life demands that followed the birth of my daughter in July 2019, a lot of my plans took a back seat, but here I am. Holding the torch for my damn self, ready to begin this next chapter and courageously holding my crown high and owning my style seat.
